DESCRIPTION: VFS MOTION TITLE SEQUENCE PROJECT
Origin is a motion title sequence project made for VFS. Origin takes place in a post apocalyptic era, following a lone survivor, possessing a unknown power. Confused about his past, the character searches for answers from one city to the next. The title scene takes place in a secluded forest in the mountains, where it reamins un-harmed.

Origin was filmed with a Canon 550D and edited on Adobe After Effects. I motion-tracked the credits to the trees to create a semi-3D like effect. The day of the shoot, the weather did not co-operate with the plans. I decided to use closeup shots to eliminate the location’s small size, and used a grainy look to give that gritty post war feel.
